NEOWISE
Comet NEOWISE was the cool highlight of July and August 2020. The comet, also known as C/2020 F3, was only discovered on March 27 this year by NEOWISE – NASA’s Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer mission. The comet was first visible from the Northern hemisphere and later from the Southern hemisphere. Many images were taken with iTelescope’s array of telescopes. A webinar on comets was also launched for our members. More webinars are to follow on timelapse photography and image processing of comets.
