Operational Notes

T33 features a large CCD chip with a great FoV. Matched up with the wonderful Paramount PME mount and off axis guidance this telescope will deliver incredable data.

FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for  60, 120, 180, 300, 600, 900 second exposures. Binx1 - Binx2.  The CCD is Anti Blooming Gated - ABG.

300s sub exposures are optimal at Binx1 for LRGB data & Narrowband at 300 Binx2, or 600 Binx1 on calm nights.

Due to the very fast optical design, a bright moon light may impact some exposures.  Select targets well away from the moon position and use narrowband filters for quality data during bright moon periods.

Note: T33 uses a custom made off-axis guiding system. This system is susceptible to winds and gusts due to its large closed tube design. Keep exposures as short as possible for your mission on windy nights of over 8kph near zenith is particularly sensitive to guidance issues.
